About Bravo 2 / 121

Bravo 2 / 121 Infantry has been based at the Jackson-Pless Armory in Newnan since 2007 and is part of the Georgia 48th Brigade Combat Team. This unit was previously based out of Cordele, Georgia.

The unit was part of the 48th Brigade deployment to Iraq May 2005 - May 2006.  After returning from Iraq, the unit was moved to Newnan, and is now comprised of many soldiers who served with Bravo and E 108 CAV that was decommissioned after the Iraq deployment.  The present combined unit is a seasoned and battle tested unit.

For many in Bravo 2 / 121 and their families, this will be their third overseas deployment including the Bosnia deployment in 2000.  As well, some of the troops of Bravo were in training and preparing for deployment during the Gulf War.
